Dashboard Heater blowing luke warm

my dashboard heater started blowing luke warm yesterday, i took the trim off and pulled the unit out as far as it could. The plastic gear for the hot and cold dial has broken somehow.
Does anyone know if i can buy this part separately and if so , whats the easiest way to replace it please ?

So I have had a quote from VW...£134 +vat
(Part number 7E0819045C9B9) , think i'll try find a used one

How did you get on with this fault, my 2016 T6 is now only blowing hot when the temp dial is set to Hi, usually runs at 20/22 and I’m melting,
