Dash cam

Forgive me if this has already been brought up.
Bought a dash cam, need an ignition switched live.
Both the 12v sockets in front are permanently live thinking of starting the search in the interior light. Has anyone fitted one? If so where did you get your switched live from.

No not really but depends what your trying to do with the ambient lighting but thats another thread

Has anybody connected their camera to a permanent battery from the fuse panel under the dash. I've just bought a voltage converter with a low voltage cut out so the camera can be on all the time.

I can have my dash cam working but not my radio due to what I can only think of as interference from using the cigarette lighter power via hardwire! Disconnect my dash cam and my radio works. What are others finding or doing/done to remedy the situation, if possible?

With the dash cam in I can get BBC Radio 1 and 2 on DAB and that's pretty much it. No FM.
