Creaking And Squeaky Drivers Seat. 8k Miles

Quick heads up.....took the van into Bilston VW and they are replacing the seat base under warranty. They say it's a common problem.

My seat was creaky too, but about 6 weeks ago I turned the whole thing upside down and sprayed the mechanisms with WD40 Dry PDF, no squeaks/creaks since.

Fingers crossed for you, I absolutely hate creaks and rattles.

I normally have so many bits of cardboard and other stuff stopping the noises!!
They also replaced something to do with the tweeter speaker in the drivers side A pillar as this was rattling too.

I've just had my 67 Plate T6 a week today but i've noticed the Driver Seat squeeking a bit, I'll give the dealers a try after your success

Mine were quiet when new, then squeaked for a couple of months and then the squeaking went away.

Try pumping the seat, it fixed the passenger captain in my kombi
