Hi I'm new to this having acquired a 2018 T6 at Xmas. The driver seat was squeaky when driving and I asked VW to have a look during service. They say the pivots are worn and I need a new seat frame and base. They wanted £1400 to fix it. Has anyone had this problem. Is there a repair? It's a captain seat. I guess I can get a second hand seat and cover it using my seat covers? Anyone know if it has to be a specific seat or just from T6 or will a captain's chair from a T5 work? Thanks!
