Drivers swivel seat, anyone modified the height?

I've got a driver's swivel seat that is too low for me so the seat base doesn't provide any support under my right leg and I'm getting a lot of pain on long journeys. Has anyone modified the height of the drivers seat to make it higher? I've got aftermarket leather on the seats ( including in the back) so swapping the seat for another one would involve swapping the leather cover over which sounds awkward. I'm thinking there must be a way of shimming the seat base or something, maybe just to lift the front of the seat to give me some support under my right leg. Anyone done this? To add to the complications there's a leisure battery and B to B charger under the seat with lots of wiring. What are my opinions?

You can add 8mm /10mm penny washers under the single seat base..

To raise 6mm ISH?

Or get a seat swivel riser kit.

I added a RIB riser kit too my passenger seat swivel to get more hight for a battery

Thanks for your reply, the swivel riser kit I've found on line only mentions passenger side, I've had search but nothing obvious comes up? It might fit I suppose?

I got this from RIB...

Hello,

If you want to raise the passenger swivel reference CBTO13D3GB, you need to order the extra raisers + bolts under the reference CBTO13RS3.

Then your swivel reference CBTO13D3GB will become a Reference CBTO

Hi,

I have exactly oposite problem. I am a bit tall (195-200cm). I would like to get a swivel seat, but I am afraid that additional 3.5 cm will cause my head to bump/touch the car roof. I tried to simulate this by raising my normal seat (+-), and it was... on the edge. Is there some option to get a swivel seat, and not raise the heighth? or just 1-2 cm? I am not afraid of some "medium level" mechanical modifications if needed.

I have a RIB v3 swivel and I removed the provided spacers. It’s still taller than a seat without a swivel but it’s much better.

I seem to recall something about a lowered seat base?

Hi @Dellmassive do the RIB shines only work with their bases? My Fogstar battery is a bit too tight so need to list it a bit and add a swivel at the same time but wanted to stick with Rusty Lee bases

Um I'm not sure.

They may work with others, but can't say for sure, without trying it.

I show them here.
