I recently bought a converted single Captains seat ( driver to passenger ) for my T6.1 project off the Bay.
When fitted the pins wouldn't drop when adjusting the seat backwards and forwards. I compared it to my drivers seat and realised the adjustment lever sits at a downwards angle and not horizontal. Therefore as the seat slides back the lever moves upwards as it catches the swivel seat base lifting the pins up.
After dismantling it looks to me like the lever has been broken off at some time and then welded back on, clearly at the wrong angle. Also one of the little plastic "cages" is missing and the seller had zip tied it onto the spring sections. So a bit of a repaired "duffer"....Otherwise the seat is fine.
Anyway long story short does anyone know the part number of the setup in the images below? I can see it on an exploded VW seat diagram but can't find a code. I've tried Google lens but comes up with generic seat parts.
I will call in at a VW centre as soon as one is open to see if they can track it down. Thanks in advance.
