Crank no start, but starts on starter fluid

I got a 2018 tiguan 2.0 tdi, it will crank but not start, but starts with easy start, injectors are at constant 6v even when cranking

There is fuel pressure up to injectors,
I have no communication with steering module but other than that i had an nv energy management code thats gone when i matched new battery

I am pretty lost can anyone point me in a direction

Did it stop all of a sudden or did you have any work done?

Sounds like fuel not coming through, so either fuel pump (in tank or HPFP) or a immobiliser fault? Have you got any fault codes?

Try the spare key. Thats probably not it, but it costs nothing to try and its caught me out in the past.

Just didnt start in the morning, im not getting any codes apart from no communication to power steering steering module

Might be a shot in the dark here but check your engine earth strap is in good nick.
And the battery to the chassis connection too.

Get the codes read.

Could it be the crankshaft sensor? I've heard this can give symptoms you've described
