Crank no start...but then does...

So, right on 30g soot level, DPF regenerated as normal.

Interestingly, about 5 miles prior I got an EML with a P226D00 - Particulate Filter Deteriorated.

Hopefully no damage to the DPF due to running for 1000 miles without a regen and the high pressures, but it has cleared and pressures are perfect.

Next step is to bang a new option delete file back on for the AdBlue and EGR and see if anything changes with regard to DPF
 
Need to get to the bottom of it and potentially one to watch for anyone in future. I'm in the fortunate position to be able to chuck files at it until we bottom out exactly what was going on
Understood, you’re lucky the cost is just time, imagine a VW dealership faffing their way through this.
I’m sure there was another case on the Forum recently with a adblue delete preventing a DPF regeneration.

Interesting - that would be an explanation. I'll have a hunt about and see if I can find any similarities
