Coolant temp sensor 1 location

Hi, I have a 2017 t6 2.0 , the scan tool is coming up with coolant temp sensor 1 low circuit.

I’m assuming this is a faulty sensor?

Is the sensor located in the block near the thermostat housing? Underneath the inlet manifold?

If so, is it best practice to take the manifold off or go from underneath? ( engine mount off etc)

Does the sensor show meaningful readings?
