Had our fully converted van now since the beginning of last December. Around 60 nights in van so far, and everything is as could have been hoped for apart from a couple of things.
Roof cold in winter, been up there when minus 19 outside. 1cm layer of ice on fabric of pop up.
Midges coming through mesh of roof , that should be sorted now got some mesh to Velcro over Windows.
Too hot in warm weather. How do people keep van cool. It is a black van but it does get extremely warm in hot weather.
Do the silver covers help for roof in both summer and winter. If so which ones for SCA 194. Also widow blinds! Any recommendations.

Our Rainbow screens on front and back really help to keep the van cooler in summer and warmer in winter. We haven’t gone for the pop top cover though as we’ve not gone down below minus 4 yet, plus we sleep downstairs with the heat trapped via the SCA bed platform.

@CaliforniaCamping recently did a comparison of the Rainbow Screens poptop wrap with another - have a look for it on YouTube
