I see some very funny / interesting and strange photos picked for members avatar, and wonder what’s the story behind them?

I know some have their beloved T6, but again they all tell a story...

What’s the story behind your avatar?

@Ghost looks like you the best man to start the ball rolling.... so what's your story?

Iv been keeping my eye out for a spooookkkyyy avatar.
There was a cool thread asking members to post photos of their pumpkin carvings, and in that thread @Northern Monkey posted a photo with this little ghost in.. :)

Mine was my last outing on the VTR1000 at Cadwell Park, over the mountain. Shortly after the old girl was swapped for a gixxer 6:

Love that place although it's prone to bite you in the arse.

My avatar is from Godden engineering. They made excellent British built speedway engines.
I have the little mascot tattooed on the top of my arm from my speedway days.

Mines of a water buffalo getting friendly just outside Yeovil. It was a picture I took on my first weekend away in the van. No real significance, just looked like a friendly cow :)

@Fish , love to know the story behind yours, I think it’s a very clever design.

Well being me,had to be something alittle different from your normal joinery logo's (mallets? Squares, joints etc).

It started life as an Oak Tree(just the way I draw a tree).
Over all spent (on and off) 6months tweeking it,to walhat you see..

Alot of ppl see different things...
Tree.
Antlers.
Pregnant woman:)thumbsdown:)
Seaweed.
Fire.
Fish.

I'm sure I read an explanation in here somewhere about @Sammy picture. It was ages ago, but don't think I dreamt it

It all started from The Monty Python sketch,( and now for something completely different) I was on a Caribbean cruise and walking past the onboard Jazz Bar one evening after a Black Tie night and thought here's the chance for a good photo, whipped my Dinner suit off and the Wife took the photo, you can see people in the back ground laughing.

Here's one taken looking down the Wye Valley on a canoeing trip, we sent it off to Countryfile a couple of years ago for the 2016 calendar but it didn't make the cut.upload_2018-11-21_14-50-4.png
