Caravelle no power to tow bar

I’ve got a 2018 caravelle and theres no power in the tow bar. I’ve looked at the fuse diagrams and my under-passenger seat fuse box looks different to the diagrams i can find online. Does anyone know if this looks right, and if there is a fuse missing? (the fuses in there aren’t blown).

I’m trying to use a tow bar bike rack, checked it on a friends car and the rack is fine, just no acknowledgement of it being there, no lights etc on my car. Its a factory Westfalia tow bar on my caravelle

Thanks…

Trailer controller unit uses fuses in slots
SH4 - 15 A
SH5 - 20 A
SH6 - 20 A
None of those are present in the picture - I guess those in the picture are slots SH1-SH3 for 12 V sockets in the rear?

Thanks for your reply. im not sure what they’re for, but there is power to the rear 12v switches so I guess so. I’ll try fuses in 4 5 and 6 and see if that sorts it

No luck unfortunately. There isnt the ‘teeth’ or seat for the fuse to go into on the other slots. I’ve taken 3 out to show the difference…

Yes indeed, the slots SH4-6 are not in use in your fuse box.

Was it a factory order - do you have code 1D1 or 1D7 on configuration sticker (under dash by steering column)

Just read up on the 1D0 and from my understanding that’s no tow bar prep, so the factory tow bar doesn’t look to be factory

Will get it booked in to an auto electrician to check out the wiring and see if they can get power
