Can I tweak T5 bike rack to fit T6.1?

Hi everyone

We've just got a t6 shuttle and hoped our VW t5 bike rack would simply swap over. Alas not.

Rather than sell it and replace it - wondered if anybody has found any after market conversion kits or anything? I don't want to botch it obviously, too risky, but if it can be simply and sensibly done, that's preferable to a whole new thing?!?!

No. The tailgate is different.

You’ll get 3-400 for you T5 one so the upgrade should be too much.

Thanks for quick reply.
I know other brands offer conversion kits for the different tailgate, so rather hoped someone offered something for the VW one.
Any tips on selling? Just stick on eBay and hope for the best with a reserve price? Your estimate is more than I thought so I’m less miffed!!
