I was going to be camping at Donington for the BTCC, cancelled unfortunately. No spectators allowed. Boo

Going nowhere, was going to go to Lytham StAnns for the day but with over 14mile of traffic quing on the M6 north from Jn27, all holiday traffic heading for Blackpool, we didn't bother. I don't like crowds and I only like driving through Blackpool, not my kind of place but you can get some good fish and chips there I'm told.
It would have been just too hot for the dog anyway.

Hi @Urbanfox ...M6 towards the lakes is now as bad as M5 near Bristol...But as we’ve turned Northern we love fish n Chips at Southport....best time to go to Blackpool in the dark ..when the lights are on ...

Off in the morning to Devizes, Charmouth and Slapton sands on two week tour. All c&cc sites that we wouldn't normally book but needed to get something booked when rumour of the 4th opening date started a few weeks back. Just hope it stays dry for most of it.

Sadly we ended up cancelling Slapton sands due to the weather turning for the worse so never went.
