Bulkhead soundproofing? Kombi

Just wondering if anyone has deadened / soundproof + carpeted the load area side of their kombi bulkhead?

I'm pretty sure the bulkhead itself causes booming over shitty ground - only noticed it recently but it's pretty annoying.
Would be good to know if anyone has been bothered to do the above, and if it made any difference at all.

I'm keeping mine for security when working etc, so removal isn't a goer at the moment.

My friend has done his in cork and it works really well and also allows him to pin driving directions to the bulkhead!
