Brembo calliper upgrades

Has any successfully carried out a Brembo calliper upgrade on a T6/6.1?

There are lots of calliper options (Audi q7/z17/z18/Aston Martin)

There's a tread on here somewhere with pb brakes ,8 pot calipers and 405mm discs they look massive

Bad idea clicking on the Vagbremtechnic link, although I will be replacing my rear disks some time soon. The question now is drilled or hooked.
