Arrived at long last, lots of traffic and a road closed just as we got close to camp site
Day 2 under way, long slog again up to Hirtshal but then it gets easier for a few days. Hamburg was interesting to see all the containers being loaded and unloaded.
Almost at Hirtshal, feels like non stop road works so far but the van has been great and not missed a beat. Did have a panic this morning before leaving with a water leak from under fridge…
Had to pull the fridge out and found the water tape pipe was starting to detach from sink above. Hopefully sorted now….wife can’t complain about all my tools lol

Have a great trip guys, we are 24hrs behind you, just arriving in Rotterdam, driving to Hertshals tonight and tomorrow
First impression of camp site is good, good facilities. Now to try and find some good photos or maybe dinner first.

So another day and another campsite, this one is Løvøya Glamping & Camping and the pitch is right by the water
Off into Oslo tomorrow…
So a few Vikings to get the day started and then on into Oslo. Park up is not so charming but it’s slap bang close to the city.
Now I’m sure I read that no one speeds in Norway…. Well even the trucks go faster than the speed limit.
Fuel was not bad at all ÂŁ1.36ltr so not bad at all but food is more than I expected.

Epic day on the road out of Oslo and off in to the parks. Amazing views and dramatic roads at times.

Managed to do a proper shop in a supermarket today and did not seem much more expensive as in the Uk.
Wife not well which has been a bit of a bummer. Just sickness but not great when stuck on roads with no place to pull over. Hopefully a decent nights rest will help as another few hours of driving tomorrow.
