Having made the decision to go for Bebb bed from Salop Van (shewsbury), which arnt cheap) I am alittle disappointed about the quality provided.
They have saved by not using genuine QR floor brackets, granted these they have provided are 'M1' rated but surely the VW genuine ones are too?.(maybe some can clarify this). Ontop of this and having spoke to them they have informed me that they did have a batch if 100 or so made that were made in correct and the pre-drilled holes for the OEM d-ring anchor point are wrong.. obviously I have asked why these known incorrect brackets have been used.. no real answer apart from we'll get it sorted.
I know that Bebb beds have had problems in the past with the quality of workmanship in the welding and rattling of the bed but have been assured that these problems have been rectified by changing their fabricator.
I haven't had the bed yet so I hope for their sake it fits fine. And these QR brackets are in the right place.
