Barn-door roof spoiler gap

Finally fitted the spoiler supplied by THQ which looks great and really changes the van.

However the right half of the spoiler moved when fixing unbeknown to me as it was held by tape and has left a slight gap on the wing tip.

The 'master seal" has now bonded. Can the spoiler be removed and then reapplied? Is it worth re-doing it?

Here are some pics to show what I mean. The right side is fine and it is the left that has moved which has a knock on affect in the middle.

Personally I’d fill it with more bond, making sure your application is as minimal and smooth as possible. But that’s me - and I’ve never fitted nor removed one.

I know @Lukavell and @Tourershine have both removed roof spoilers, so I’ve tagged them here to see what they think for starters.

Yes you can remove it, but its not easy and you will have a nightmare removing the sealer thats not rock hard.

I removed mine with really strong fishing line.

Yea same sketch. I'd avoid removing it if you can. Mine was bolted in and made a right mess coming off.

Update, I filled the gap with more bonding sealant and it looks far better. Thanks everyone
