B14 fitting advice - what do I need to swap over?

Hi all,

I have lots of searching but can find a definitive list of what I need to swap over to the b14s from the OEM strut.

I’ve got new top mounts, nuts and gaiters but do I need order a new bump stop etc too?

I’d really like to avoid stripping the old struts and just fit new OEM parts.

Is there anyone who has done a detailed b14 fitting thread? I can’t seem to find one.

From the B14 installation manual, the original VW parts are labelled OE.

Front:

Rear:

The only change I would note is the strut top nut indicated as Bilstein (B). Do not use the Bilstein nut supplied, it's only to protect the thread during transport.....use the oem VW top nut.
