I have them and they are good. They stay in permanently and I have them wired to a switch in the back next to the sliding door . They are really bright I think to bright so I then had them contact to a remote control along with my pop top light and floor mood lighting so I can switch them on from there and also dim them.

How did you get the wire into the van
Is it a permanent hard wired
Or does it have to be plugged in every time
Any chance of a picture of your set up
Ta

It’s permanently wired I’ll take a few pictures.
Like I say the first time I used them on a camp site the light against the white van was overpowering you could probably see me from the moon. I think the dimmer is a must.

Pics of the switching order when we are away we just use the remote to switch off and on and dim. The remote also switches and dims pop top light and floor leds. I also have the led in the end of the awning which are also switched using the remote and yiu can also dim. The last pics are the route of the cable it goes under the pop top and is then drilled down and sealed. It then drops behind the back section on the pic and then pops out just behind the switch. We fitted a double switch so one does the led under the awning and the other one does the ones on the end of canopy. Hope this all makes sense and helps

Sorry to open an old thread - but we are interested in getting LED lights fitted for our Fiamma f45s and would like a very similar set up to the one mentioned here (hard wired and controlled by a switch or remote) is there anyone in the East Midlands region that fits these? I don’t like the idea of trying it myself and drilling into the van etc
