Hi the power for movement in the seats I’ve used the passenger seat fuse box for additional separate supplies to each seat with 25A fuses
Still waiting for a kufatec loom for the heating but I have the new dash controls, seat heat control module and Audi seat plugs for the new loom
Will post on here when it’s done 👍

Hi @Superchargedgti where are you getting the Audi seat plugs from?

Thanks @Superchargedgti .

As my install turned into a bit of a wiring massacre, when you can I’d appreciate knowing just the specific parts you’re working with and have bought to make it all work - -

First off, a QQ: what was the original Audi seat control unit/module that came with the seats?

Moving on to your shopping list..
What is the new seat movement controls youve got?
What dash heating controls and module have you bought?
What is the kufatec loom for the heating you’re waiting for?

If you’re doing a T6.1 and want the heated seats as OEM as possible (and controllable more than just full blast on or off), then you need the climate Panel with the heated seat buttons and also the seat module. I managed to get them off eBay for about 120 quid for both, which I think was a bit of a bargain as i have seen the panel go for 2-3x that on its own. It also needs coding, but I havent got that far yet as still trying to work out the loom. I have the part numbers for the above if you want them LMK and I can dig them out.

Cheers

For me, I’ve put my s-line into a T6, which just has basic AC, no climate control or heated seat buttons. So I’m trying to work out all the wires in the green plug and see how i can make it work..

From what I can tell of the 5 wires in the green plug - they are - but not 100% sure,,

(5) Red is heating element
(2) Brown & white is heating element.
(3) Black & White is thermostat / temp Sensor
(1) Brown & Green is thermostat / temp Sensor
(6) Green - ???

Have you started the heated seat wiring on your van yet? Got all my wiring no so plan on installing and coding this weekend
Only information I’m searching for is the Linbus connection position I think that’s at the BCM? T73C/15
And the Audi seats have 4 wires to connect to the 3 on the kufatec loom
I expect positive and negative to seat pads and 2 sensors for base and back? Need to confirm what to do with the sensor wires possibly joining the 2 Audi ones together and connect to the single kufatec sensor wire
That just leaves positive and negative supply at the main fuse panel I hope? 😁

Scroll few pages back and there somone asked and was answered what wire goes from Audi 4 wires to t6 3 wires.

Mines a bit different it’s also a 6.1
My green plugs on the Audi seat are
Thick Red
Thick Green
Thick Brown/ white tracer
Thin Green/ brown tracer

Kufatec seat loom has 3 wires
2 thick ones marked BFS3 DREI
& BFS4 VIER
1 thin marked BFS 2 ZWEI

The dash end of the kufatec loom has 3 wires also
Ground wire that’s obvious
White thick wire that I expect is positive supply from the fuse box?
Marked SC55 K1.75
And a thin linbus cable marked T73C/15
Not sure where the linbus connects to maybe the BCM?
Any suggestions welcome 😁

Hi guys what you use for a swivel on your seats?
I purchased lowered base with swivel as one and…. Can’t turn as hitting B pillar 😂 I assume they are ok with standard seats… what a bummer need return them and look on other options.
I still didnt do my electric seats… just started now got 4 motor so far
Front back
Up down
Extended front piece and back
Lift front seat up and down
Need only find lumbar tilt

You dont need to return them, you just need to cut the back of the rails off to make sure they clear the B pillars. I have done one set and need to do my new ones, I was going to make a 3d printed cutting template to mark exactly how much needs to come off, as last time I just kept testing then remove and cut until it fit and swiveled.

You bascially need to cut a fairly sharp angle off the rails, just behind the bolt down holes. do this and it will swivel.

Hmm ik what you mean but when I try adapters itself hit the trim not to mention seat lol
Was thinking about cut trim as it does go without trim and then hit on top with seat itself.
With normal size base it will be much higher then where hitting right now but I might do as you say and cut end of rail
Oh will check and see what best

So I have lowered seat bases with swivels included like yours, then I have the seats mounted on THQ adaptor plates to make sure the drivers seat is central. The drivers seat is always a bit more awkard to swivel but I fold the seat back down and have to swivel anti clockwise. Then its just about making sure the seat rail is chopped not to hit the B pillar

I got different adapters was trying to see if I can cut them too but hole it’s too close.
Just find out there 6 motors for 1 seat.
That’s a lot of buttons on one side of seat

Just done mine. Lumber pump and massage not working. Think it may need set up from original vehicle. Very happy with heated seats and forward back etc working and seat belt warning. I did do rear foot well light as well but not really needed. I don’t need swivel. New steering wheel should be in the post.

I do crave some posh new seats :p
it was a fair bit of work but really pleased with the results, wanted to fit some armrests as I missed them, made some bits on the lathe and squared off the ends to fit the original T6 ones fitted, made a template for a frame to attach to seat base and then went really simple and used the Audi head rests that came with the replacement seats. Both removable in a second, very comfortable and cost naff all. a bit of hard wood shaped and covered in leather, fitted to my aftermarket centre console for the left hand side, r/h side snug fit in the door pocket. now I can sell the original heated seats with the original armrests, which I found to be very expensive to purchase if required.
