App Connect - What Should It Cost?

I've read a lot of the previous threads, and I understand that "installing" app-connect is just a software code then needs to be added in to the header unit via VCDS (or something like that)

I've also read that someone was quoted £139+VAT to get it "installed"

I've just had a quote from Listers Van Centre in Coventry for £250+VAT to supply and fit the part......

What other experiences have people had?

How much have you paid?

I added APP Connect when i ordered MY18 T6
I've just looked through paperwork and on the invoice Imperial Commercials Nottingham charged me £121.50

I believe the cost price of the activation code is around £150-180 + vat and depending on what was fitted at the factory some vehicles need the usb socket replaced with an apple compatible one which adds a bit more so £250 + vat does seem too crazy
I have heard of people being quoted anywhere from £180 to £250 + vat

They will try it on. I got quoted £450 to have the DSG oil changed in my golf, when I replied ‘oil mate, not gearbox replacement’ it went quiet and the service guy said he would call me back....an hour later, £190. Cheeky.
