Anyone up on t6 bcm

Not sure what you are up to, but perhaps this will be helpful.
Replacement BCM is the next step.
I think I have never seen physical failure of a BCM unit before.

Have you checked your local pricing options?
Are you considering new or second hand BCM?

If you go ahead with a D revision, you need to take into account the additional cost of getting your key fobs remote function paired.

7E0937090B and 7E0937090C have the same functionality as 7E0937090D and remote key fob can be paired with a VCDS.
Additionally, as I have mentioned before, the software on B and C can be updated to revision D and remote pairing method remains as it was originally.

I'm basicly going to to attempt 4wd dsg into a t5 .
Already find I need to modify rear mounting pi to and handbrake cables. Etc . But chap I bought it from said it was t6 ?
So I'm trying to confirm the modules and part list are all off t6. . Before I transplant the vechical loom into the vechical ? I can add the part numbers off modules if u possibly know

Hi

Just to confirm, the lettering [A, B, C, D] after the part number on a 7E0937090 BCM refers to the software/firmware version.

Looking at the actual units out there, some seem to have the version letter directly etched on the unit itself e.g. 7E0937090C, whereas others have nothing, just 7E0937090

If you do have a basic 7E0937090, is there any reason to update them, and out of interest, how do you update them exactly?

Correct.

Correct for B, C, D and E.
whereas others have nothing, just 7E0937090
That would be equivalent of A.

You can flash it to a higher version or replace it altogether. Second hand units can be quite inexpensive.
Please be aware that original versions D and E require special equipment and procedure for pairing the central locking remote.
For revisions A, B and C the remote can be learned via adaptation channel with VCDS or ODB11.

The main difference amongst all revisions is the content of the GATEWAY INSTALLATION LIST. And this relates directly to the potential of your future retrofit capacity.

I'm running a T6 BCM in my T5.1. As above, I went for 7E0 937 090 C from a 2018 van as VCDS can pair the keys. It'll be fine with everything on there, except "L" revision door motors for folding mirrors - I had to upgrade as I'm running T6 door/window modules too and they don't respond to the T5.1 messaging.

Only thing I had to do after coding/pairing keys was to remove the battery monitor from the gateway list.

I was wondering how long it would be before you'd be wanting 4WD in your RSQ3 powerd van. With that much power and only front wheel drive!!!!!!
