Anyone running Stance+ on a T32 DSG?

Afternoon all, I’m running Stance+ on my 2016 T32 DSG and really not getting on at all well with them. They feel really soft on the front and with a cab full of passengers will occasionally bottom out over certain potholes or drain covers. I started with 20mm preload then reduced to 15mm which is better but still not good.
Anyone else have this? I only ever read brilliant reviews about these kits but I’m really not pleased with them at all. I wondered if the weight of the DSG box is possibly making a difference?

I also tow a caravan and when you go over bumpy roads the van is still bouncing up and down for what feels like a mile later.

I wonder if perhaps I’m expecting too much of them but I previously ran a cheap set of TA technix coilovers on my previous T30 T5 for 4 years and the ride was far superior in comparison.

Any feedback appreciated

@Cjscos and @AlexPL have, I think. Click on the tab / have a search and you’ll find a fair few threads on Stance+

Thanks @Ads_Essex
I’ve researched some of the stance threads and can’t find too much relating to my problem, I was expecting it to be a common complaint as the springs seem too soft/under rated to me

I think stance has its place in the market ,but I certainly wouldn’t sell them. I have removed dozens of them , the kit was probably developed on an empty SWB 102 hp van FWD. the van weight varies drastically model to model and this affects what the kit can cope with , There is nothing you can do to improve it sadly. there are some great kits that cope well , happy to quote you.

What kits do u sell? I’m not looking for slammed, just want want a reasonably comfy lowered look

The best all round kit is the Private Label STX klit from KW drops of 35 to 65 mm lovely performance and comfort

The most popular kit is the KONI sport shocks and matching springs 40 to 50 mm on this one

I still have mine on but I must admit the drivers side does bottom out at the front. I have tried all settings and will be taking it off to see if it has any leaks soon. I have not solved this but I have not had a look properly yet. Fitting them did show up loose driveshafts so check them first as this caused a lot of my banging when on full lock and is a very common fault

It took me a long while to get the right setting! The back shocks I had to gradually wind down until it stopped bouncing about but its rather solid now. For coil overs on 9.5x20 alloys with 275 40 20 tyres and much lower than it was think they are great but if your towing I doubt any coilovers would be suitable unless the the shocks are adjustable to stable the load. For the price they are great and it handles like a car but my wife says I have ruined the van with big wheels and low suspension! It's a compromise between price and comfort and they suite me fine. I just wish they were adjustable shocks like my spax used to be on the escort
