Whilst I was fitting the puddle lights at the weekend, I had a SOS (silly old sod) moment.
The instructions from Saxoboy said in the bunch of wires going to the door catch, t tap into the brown black wire.
I, for the life of me couldn't se it. So I read down the puddle light thread, & saw that someone else had the same problem & connected into the yellow brown wire, the wire in the centre of the bunch.
I should have read a bit further, because in another post they said they immediately lost the DAB signal. This is what happened to me.
Anyway, next day I had another look & did se the correct brown black wire. I connected into that wire & DAB signal came back. However, now when I open either door, I loose the signal for a couple of seconds.
I think I may have damaged the cable slightly, so need to cut it & re join it.
Does anyone know what it feeds & if it is safe to cut without blowing something?
