Hello

Just came home from work and an Engine Oil Amber light has come up. I've checked the levels and for any leaks and all good.

I have how ever been on a new site and scrapped the bottom of the van a little, again checked and no damage or leaks?

Having read a little says to check oil pressure and change the sensor.

Can anyone enlighten me to where the sensor is placed on a 2016 CAAB engine.

Photos of the position would be great.

Thank you

i would check the wiring under the van. at the rear of the engine as the exhaust runs down. the sensor and wiring connect into the rear of the oil pan at lowest point.
I had oil light and sensor fault. was all geared up to change the sensor but when i got near to it to remove I found the wire broken. It is quite vulnerable and susceptible to being caught if things brush past the under engine cover.
