Thanks for these suggestions. I'm now convinced that I want a T6.1 LWB Startline with Business pack with the Hitop Vivante build. I'm looking at a T28 2021 66000 miles; will this give me enough capacity as a van and can I carry a towbar bike rack with two 20kg ebikes?
The van has steel wheels not sure what size. Is there a best size for campervans, would change of wheel size require changed suspension? Thanks all,

Ours is T28.

We have a Towbox on the towbar, approx 50kg in total.

Full of food and water we were still under max weights.

So should be no issue with the bikes.


Suspension doesn't *need* changing, but you will be happy once you get decent shocks on it.

CRS Performance are the gurus, but you have The Van Cave closer to you who know what they are doing.

After many months of debate on the best low suspension for the Transporter buses, we have eventually taken our development to another level.
Over the last 6 months we have shown that probably the best all round kit with sensible drops is the KONI shocks and H&R spring kits (correctly spec'd).

Thank you for all the support and suggestions. I had a conversation with Leisuredrive yesterday about the timing belt replacement of the offered 66,000 mls van. They quoted the latest VW perspective that it is not now required at this mileage but if it hasn't been done they could do it at extra cost. That has made me reconsider paying a bit more to get a lower mileage van. A little bit of "back to the drawing board" or piggy bank. Its a shame no one is wanting to sell just what I want right now!!
