Hi all, I have a Fully moulded bumper on my van at th moment it’s a startling, I’m looking for a primed or a white bumper that is off the sportline or highline, has any one used after marked bumper skins, I been looking at the items on van tech and travelling lite?not sure what fit will be like etc, I’d appreciate if someone could help me out with some information, cheers

Sabre might be able to advise - he bought from Travelin-lite a few years back:
I bought a new set from travelin lite and took them to a local crash repair paint shop. Colour coded perfectly. 2 yrs ago ish was about£450 front and rear for the paint job.

Hi Jimmy,
Yeah I changed my Startline bumpers for a Travelin lite set. Choose the Startline variant as it comes with the grille fitted. Other variants are slightly different, I think.
They came primed so just needed spraying, which was simple for my local accident repair VW specialist.
Fitting took a weekend but isn't difficult, I can now take my front bumper off, and back on again in ½hr! Just takes a while to understand where the clips are and what is attached to what. It's a straight fit, and can be done with 1 person, but easier for 2.
It's all on YouTube. There's people on here who can help advise you too.

Ah brilliant, where all the grills etc a direct fit (I know they all have to be purchased separately) another thing is I don’t have fogs and can’t find the bottom blanking caps they all seem to be for fog lights, also just to clarify no extra brackets where needed?

With the Startline set the grille is attached to the bumper section. Dont ask why, it just seems to be but i didnt get to find out why. It came with all the blanking caps so only needed to paint.

Think we misunderstood eachother there, my van at the moment has the fully moulded bumper for start line, but I’m wanting to change it for the primed bumper like you find on highline and trendline? They both fit exactly the same ? However I know you need to purchase grills etc for the new bumper skin.

Hi, similar question, but just wanted clarification. I have a startline, if I buy a bumper for a highline or caravelle, will it be a perfect fit to replace the existing bumper?

NB: I know I will also need to buy the grills etc, as they are all separate pieces. Just want to know if the base bumper is a simple fit?
(Travelin lite, are out of stock, so want to try and get a standard bumper and go from there)

I just bought a front and rear genuine bumper from TPS (genuine vw motor factors) I think the front was £258 also then I bought the grills from van style, I think from what TPS told me there are two types of bumper covers, startline and then the primed bumper without grills is used on higher spec vans

Thanks for the info.
Just ordered an OEM front bumper from Coventry VW Van Centre, and some aftermarket grilles.
