Advice on where to research for my 1st campervan

Hi, I am new to this forum so first post.
I am looking to purchase my 1st campervan in the next few months for adhoc weekend trips out with the family, so am looking for advice on where to do my research on what to buy and where from, i.e. is Autotrader the place to go, or are there specific dealerships that I should make contact with etc. I have read that the T6 is the better choice and could be used for a daily commute of 10 miles or so.
My minimum criteria is a 4 berth SWB or LWB, automatic, a/c, 2 burner, fridge/freezer, plus advice on what mods to have installed as there are loads to choose from.
Any advice on where to go first and start reading would be appreciated.
