Adding genuine reversing camera to aftermarket independent screen.. not head unit

Hi all, I was lucky enough to inherit a factory reversing camera as part of my barn door to tailgate conversion, as my tailgate came from a multivan that had it factory fitted.

I only have the basic head unit that can't work with a genuine camera, so I wondered if anyone had wired the camera to a remote screen such as a rear view mirror type thing.

I have the factory wiring in the tailgate loom upto where it would join the van loom into rear pillar, it has the original 3 pin connector and the video feed connector on it too. hopefully a pic below...

Has anyone done one, any recommendations ?

Hi please could someone advise what the interface is called as having little luck finding one on google. I have the basic Composition colour head unit and wish to add an oem reversing camera.

We can supply the correct interface , but they are not cheap

That’s interesting, I didn’t think it was possible to get the very basic head unit to show reverse camera feed ?

Cheaper to buy a better second hand head unit. I offered my unit from my T6.1 Highline with business pack, to a friend, and he told me it was "worthless".
If I can find it, and you want to collect it from Farnborough, it's yours for free.

I don't get on here a great deal lately, so you may have to wait a while.
