Adblue removal but keeping egr and DPF

Hi All,

I have done some reading but don’t appear to be able to find a definitive answer.

My T6 102 has egr low flow and implausible signal, this has been present fkr a few 1000 miles.

I have on and off issues with the 650 adblue error coming and going but this time it’s returned and shows no sign of going away.

I’m booked to have the egr replaced and the garage has mentioned the adblue system can be super pricey to replace/repair and it could as an option have a software solution.

Is there any negative impacts on DPF fiction when the adblue system is removed in the software?

Were they going to delete ADBlue with software or apply the software update the supposedly fixes the issue?

In theory it shouldn't affect the DPF in the physical sense as the injector sits after it in the exhaust stream.

However, it depends on how inter-dependent each function of the software is and how it is written out as to whether or not it'll have an adverse effect. Some maps work well in that sense, others cause more grief than just having it repaired properly in the first place. Best perhaps to find out what software hes using and do a bit of due diligence.
