5 speed to 6 speed?

Tried tocsesrxh but could find anything to cover it

I got a 2016 2.0tdi 5 speed qwm gearbox which is noisy

What other 6 speed gearbox’s bold stright on in a conversion
And what other parts do I need
Starter
Driveshafts
Linkage cables
Bolts
Dmf/clutch

One minor point is the display on the dash will not recognise 6 gears. If you are not bothered then it does not matter but you may be able to have the ECU reprogram to tell you the correct gear.

I’m not 100%, but I’m sure I’ve seen a section in VCDS that lets you configure the gearbox setup.

Quite possibly, I know cruise control will only activate over a certain speed but not sure on gear selection

I have changed from a manual to DSG but that was on an older caddy. Not sure what the transporter allows or what the options are ( 5 to 6 speed)

Could get a ECU kit from then doner van and swap the millage and immo data over
