4Mo TSi conversion

Hello,

I've got a 2017 T6 4 Motion and I want to convert it to a petrol engine, anyone out there willing to do / know anyone that would do?

Ever since I bought my TSI, I’ve regretted not having 4-motion (a 4-motion TSI was never available in UK) and I often go through the “what-if” scenarios if I had to replace it. Either retrofit 4-motion to a TSI, or fit a TSI motor to an existing 4-motion? Or even buy a LHD EU version.
I’ve not heard of anyone doing a conversion, though it must be possible. It will be interesting to hear how you get on.

DVLA are getting a bit more awkward in relation to vehicle modifications (I’ve read this and spoken to someone with a fibreglass shelled mini). I’d research this topic as you may need to put the van through an IVA test afterwards.
