My 2022 t6.1 150 DSG is on 26,700 miles. What should should be serviced at this point?

Oil change
Air filter
Is Brake fluid really needing done?

Anything else? What is likely cost at VW van centre?

Below is what I have documented for servicing - mostly just inspecting stuff which is pretty much covered by MOT inspection anyway:

Note - Air filter change every 6 years or 80,000 miles.

As Mr Sasquatch says, Brake fluid at 3 years,
Also brake pads may be getting a little low depending on how heavily used they are.

Most vans are set to Long-Life 18000mls/24mnths by the dealer.... But I've noticed if you play with the MFD it defaults back to 12000mls/12mnths (which I've done twice now....oops!)

You can choose from two types of service regimes at VW Van Centre (Hatfield), depending on your driving methods. Your VW van also has the benefit of a service indicator on the dashboard to remind you of when a service is due.

Service Regime One: Fixed Service (Time and Distance) – the first of 12,000 miles or 12 months

Recommended if you drive less than 10,000 miles a year

You drive your van mainly in town centres / heavy traffic

You make frequent short journeys

You often use your van for towing or heavily laden

Your driving style involves hard acceleration and braking

Service Regime Two: Flexible Service (Long Life Service) – the first of 18,000 miles or 24 months

Recommended if you drive over 25 miles a day

You often use your van for long distance journeys

You rarely tow with your van or use it to its maximum load capacity

You adopt an economical driving style with minimal engine loading

Every 1 year / 10,000 miles

Engine oil and filter change

Comprehensive brake system inspection

Inspection of steering and suspension

Check and correct tire pressures and inspect tire condition

Wipers, washers, and fluid levels check

Horn and lighting systems check

Coolant level and antifreeze strength check

Battery and visible drive belts inspection

Exhaust system inspection

Run vehicle systems test and read fault memories

Other key services and inspections

Brake fluid: Every 2 years

Pollen (cabin air) filter: Every 2 years / 40,000 miles

Air filter: Every 6 years / 80,000 miles

Fuel filter: Every 80,000 miles

Timing belt: At approximately 130,000 miles or every five years

DSG automatic gearbox oil and filter (if applicable): Every 40,000 miles or 4 years

Tire rotation: Schedule with regular services

Brake pads and discs: Inspect thickness and condition

Greasing: Front door check-strap, hinges, and trailer coupling

Thanks for this.. tbh vw servicing has always confused me as I’m used to minor then major and so on. So at my mileage I can still just go interim service? My camper tends to do decent runs at a time and never hammered.

The service centre would probably do the service that is stated in the Infortainment system.
In saying that, the VW specified service intervals are very long, and a lot of us are doing "intermediate services" of at least an engine oil and filter change annually)

Yeah it’s just showing inspection and oil change. I’m going to drop oil annually moving forward as 18,000 seems far too long.

Current online pricing. Cheaper than going direct to the VW van centre.

I’ve just been quoted £470 for an interim service and oil change. That seems mega steep? Or am I just completely out of touch!

I’ve no intention of selling my van so thinking might just service the bloody thing myself. At least I know it will be done properly.
