235/35/20 Anyone?

Is anybody running this size? The converter of my van put 275 on my 8.5 rim and it looks terrible and drives sluggish.

I am going to put a 235 on there but I cannot find any 102 rated tyres online.

I’m no expert as I’m currently searching high and low for the right set up as I’d been recommended by a few suppliers that 275/35 all round on a staggered set up was fine but I wasn’t convinced.

The closest I’ve found that’s above 100 load is 255/40/20 but then I think there is an imbalance with the rear being a 275/35/20

I've thought about going 255/40/20 and 295/35/20 as that gives an almost equal rolling radius but haven’t been able to ask the question yet.

Yeah I have 275/35 on the back which are 10" and they are fine, look great and ride fine. The fronts are way off. The most common size on an 8.5 rim is 235.

Seems they don't make 100> rated 235/35 though :(

The only set up I can find that would give the equal rolling radius on staggered 20" (8.5j front & 10j rear) is opting for 245/45/20 and 275/40/20. I wasn't keen on having anything too much bigger than stock due to the speedo errors but if this set up doesn't cause any rubbing issues then I might swallow that speedo error pill.

Anyone running 245/45/20 on the front of their T6?

I went from 275/35/20 on a 9.5" to a 255/40/20. Only 10mm overall difference. Nothing to worry about.

Going back to 275 after these tyres are worn.

Sorry for the questions and more importantly, what now feels like I’m hijacking this post but can’t figure out how I’m able to post my own so hope it doesn’t offend anyone as I’m scratching my head.

Does anyone run this set up at all:

245/45/20 fronts
275/40/20 rears

I’m really keen on getting a staggered set but I’m equally anal about having the tyres correctly balanced and even...so much that I’m willing to scrap the idea of having a staggered set up to achieve this.

I’ve just had some pictures of a set of wheels I really like on a T6 and they look mint. The tyres are 275/35/20 and they look “normal” on the fronts but quite stretched on the rear. I’m fine with either look though would imagine that the fronts are more practical to live with.

appreciate your thoughts in advance!

This is abit old now but may be useful for someone else
I had some 225/40/20 on 8.5j Velare wheels which I believe was 101/02 load rating was accelera not the best make and I had 255/35/20 102 rear 10j was perfect setup for stretch and a lowered van
