The floor brackets won't accept the seats facing backwards in a Shuttle. The seatbelts will also be in the wrong location for the outboard seats, as these are anchored to the sides of the van.

My 2016 middle row seats are separate and have the belts fitted to side of each. Has anyone tried to fit the passenger 2nd row seat reversed on the drivers side ?

You'd have to rotate the floor brackets 180 degrees. But the side seatbelt would be in the wrong location to be effective.
