Its going to be a euro 5 engine though so just check if you have an low emission zones to drive into, that you dont get charged.Thankyou for the replies....

Yes, mine's Euro 5, thank god. Forum members just using the old T5.1 engines don't post much about reliability issues for a reason. Also check if its got adblue as weren't some of the early T6’s just using the old T5.1 engines.
Would be interesting to know what percentage of members have a Euro 6 van vs a Euro 5 van. I initially presumed the Euro 6 vans were dominant, but time on the forum has lead me to suspect otherwise. If Euro 5 are indeed more prevalent, that would add weight to your comment re Euro 6 issues being over-represented.Yes, mine's Euro 5, thank god. I've no need or desire to enter a ULEZ and happy not to have the issues that come with the Eu6 engines.
I think that the Euro 5 engine was discontinued in favour of Euro 6 sometime in early 2016, so I'm of the opinion that the majority of forum members drive Euro 6 vans.Would be interesting to know what percentage of members have a Euro 6 van vs a Euro 5 van. Yeah, simple is usually better.I think that the Euro 5 engine was discontinued in favour of Euro 6 sometime in early 2016, so I'm of the opinion that the majority of forum members drive Euro 6 vans.
Either way I stand by my comment that Euro 5 engines are less troublesome - simpler with less to go wrong.
I’m in the market for a t6 kombi and not to far from you it seems if you do decide to sell up?I have the same but T32 with 93000 mile .
just gone straight through MOT but had flywheel and clutch at 60000.
had it from new and the euro 5 is a good engine and probably better if you need to do short runs.Good on fuel as well I get between 40 and 50 on a run and about 36 around town.
I would like to sell mine but cannot find anything I like at the moment but if I did I would be looking for £20000 but completely standard so with the extras inside doesn’t sound to bad as the prices are very high at the moment.
My T6 was registered in May 2016, built around March 2016 according to labels on components. Euro 5 and no issues.I think that the Euro 5 engine was discontinued in favour of Euro 6 sometime in early 2016, so I'm of the opinion that the majority of forum members drive Euro 6 vans.

Your dead right, however Adblue reduces NOx emissions not carbon dioxide and it’s likely that carbon reduction will take the whole lot of the road together IMO.I have no desire to enter a ULEZ area either, but I can't help feeling that one ULEZ area will become another and another until the whole country is under the scheme in one form or another. I'd say future proof your van purchase with a Euro6 engine. It'll certainly be more desirable than a Euro5 when you come to sell it.
