2016 T6 Hesitant Starting

Hi all my first post on this forum. We have recently upgraded to a T6 Campervan and I’m just not sure about how it starts. On turning the key it seems to hesitate and then it starts. Battery has good voltage, also appears alternator is charging battery. When stop/start operates the van seems to start fine. Any experience of something similar or any thoughts? Thanks

I would say it's normal, as mine has done this from new, I also have a 2016.

No offence intended, but are you familiar with how the glow plugs work?
If I jump in my van on a cold morning and turn the key straight away to the start position, there is a second or so delay while the glow plugs operate, then the van starts immediately. That is entirely normal, it's the van operating as it should.

Yellow coil warning light on dash.
If it’s on, the van won’t start, once gone it’ll turn over.
