My T6 (2016, 127k) has started making a nasty metallic rattling noise last week. It sounds like a bracket vibrating (resonating) but all connections have been checked and nothing found
The noise does change with engine revs but doesn't follow that closely hence think its not a rotational part problem
I've had it in 2 garages who I trust, both had stethoscopes on it still can't pin point it. Also checked the cam belt pulleys
Both now suggesting engine strip down but said diagnosing will be tricky as you can't start it to check faults when in bits and it sounds very £
Anyone else experienced the same issue or recommend a good VW specialist near Leicester? Cheers
