Hi all,
Wondering if anyone else has come across this:
We’ve got a 2016 T6 with the 7-speed DSG. Drives great most of the time, but recently we’ve started noticing an occasional sudden jolt or hesitation, like it momentarily loses accelerate power. It’s not linked to gear changes - the DSG still shifts smoothly - so I’m leaning away from it being a gearbox or clutch issue.
There’s no clear pattern (hot/cold, uphill, load etc) and no fault codes showing on OBD. It just feels like the engine stumbles for half a second.
We’re booked in for a full service tomorrow, including DSG oil/filter change, and maybe there’s something I could ask them to check.
Just wondered if this is a known issue or something others have experienced before I go chasing shadows. It’s an annoying one because it’s intermittent, and not throwing any faults.
Appreciate any thoughts or shared experiences, thanks.
