So what's your effective et rating on the rear?My winter wheels are 8.5 x 20 et35 and i run a 15mm spacer on the rear to fill the arch. They look lost otherwise

275/40 is too big a tyre on an 8.5" wheel for a start but just add spacers to fill the archI've been offered some 20in alloys, et45, 8.5j. Tyres are 275/40. I'm concerned that these won't fill the rear arches, anyone running something similar?
Should I avoid buying these then?275/40 is too big a tyre on an 8.5" wheel for a start but just add spacers to fill the arch
Really they all seem to supply 20” 8.5j with 275/40 why would they do that if there to big?275/40 is too big a tyre on an 8.5" wheel for a start but just add spacers to fill the arch
It's a mass produced size due to it being for Range Rover sport so it's cheap, readily available and of suitable load rating. 245 or 255 will drive much better on 8.5j rims.Really they all seem to supply 20” 8.5j with 275/40 why would they do that if there to big?
