2.0 TSI Strange sound + low pressure (CJKA)

Hello, I have a Multivan with a 2.0 TSi150 kW CJKA engine. EA888 gen 2.
The engine has been overhauled:
- cylinder head repair
- new rings, new pistons
- new bearings
- new oil pump, cylinder head bearing
- new intake and exhaust camshafts
- new timing belt
The engine has power and doesn't smoke, but it has a strange grinding or knocking sound, definitely not the bearing on the camshaft. The sound seems to be coming from the top of the engine.

Also, when cold, the oil pressure is 1.8-2.0 bar.
At 60-80°C, the oil temperature is 1.5 bar.
At 110°C, the oil temperature is 0.8 bar.
What can I do to improve this?
This car is giving me a headache.

Listened multiple times, maybe I eventually heard what could be fluid throttling through a valve / orifice.
I wouldn’t be loosing sleep over that.
If you’re worried get the post rebuild oil change done and get a couple of thousand miles on the new oil before doing a Miller oil analysis. 40+ quid and you’ll have peace of mind without invasive work. Every time invasive work is done the contaminants enter the lube oil system.
The first oil analysis will be the baseline for future analysis and is by far the best method of condition monitoring.

Wow, a massive rebuild..

How many miles were on the van ?

What was the original reason for the rebuild?

Hello again, the Multivan has 226,000 km on the clock, but has only 560 km since the overhaul.

The engine noise is still the same.

It quiets down more often (there are times when the grinding noise isn't there). Could it be the timing belt or the camshafts?

I can hear the noise when I touch the metal oil filter while grinding.
