12volt Interior Lighting

Thinking of installing this kit from Amazon.

Would it work or would there be any potential issue's?
Seems a good price and its multi coloured and dimmable as well.

3 things I would think about:

What if they go wrong. Would your installation make it easy to replace them, or would you be ripping loads out to get to them.

Are you happy cutting off the connectors and wiring them into your van.

Are they happy with 14+ volts - this is what your battery or battery charger could be putting out.

They seem ok... though not tried myself..

Listed as 12vdc.... so same as most LEDS.

A few comments stated the once set with the remote control that on/off switching remembers the last setting so no remote needed.
