At the end of my tether here, every thing seems to be a hassle, so here it is:

£500 cash to anyone willing to run the 2 extra cables to my bcm and code my tailgate. VERY SIMPLE AND QUICK JOB to the correct person with the correct tools and skills, im in Edinburgh, which you would think is near the North pole as no one near with correct skills and tools.
Somebody PLEASE help me and i will line your pockets with a monkey which is more than enough to cover your fuel and a hotel if need be.

I would, but I'm on the sunny (rainy flooded) south coast. It's a really simple task to do. PM if you need some help to do it if you can't find anyone to do it.

Cheers mate, i probably will be messaging you at some point within the next week to be honest, as soon as i get the van back im tackling it

I guess it's the usual issue that you'd assume a garage would be able to deal with, but as it's outside what they class as 'normal' day to day work, they just won't get involved, and I totally understand that as a business. Not that this helps you though.

If you are so desperate that you will pay someone daft money to do the job, have you considered asking if anyone in here will do it if you went to them?
There are a lot of talented members in here that do this kind of stuff in their sleep, i'm sure one would be happy to help out for what we refer to as 'beer tokens' I've seen items moved from one end of the country to the other for free on here. I've also seen teams of guys at some of the shows and meets we attend, all over a T6 doing jobs for simple pleasure. Christ, i've seen @Fish T6 with no front end on it, whilst a load of them swapped over bits on the floor of a field at another show, fantastic.
My point is, maybe come to one of the many weekends we have planned for 2020 and if it's a technical job that needs any kind of tool, I bet there will be several guys attending that are happy to help.

If you can get the wires run, why not try to come down to the next NW meet and get the coding done? As mentioned it’s amazing what members will do to assist each other.

What coding are you wanting to do? What's the operation your wanting the tailgate to perform?.

He’s done a tailgate conversion from barn door.

I spoke with the guy last night at midnight!
He’s coming down to see me with a list of jobs so I think we’re all sorted.
Thanks Ed.
Hope your well pal. Not seen you in a while.

Hello, thanks for your reply, it all boils down to no one willing to travel to Edinburgh and for me to travel a load of miles it has to be to a specialist like volksfit, as the last thing anyone wants is being stuck away from home because we are missing a part to complete the job, im going to give a list to volksfit and we will decide whats needed then I'll make the journey down.
