Interesting. I'm down a similar height with a LWB Caravelle, 8.5*20 wheels, et56 with 30mm rear spacers and 255/40 tyres. Even loaded with 500kg in the rear I get no rubbing.

Hi Doulsy, I would like to remove mine too. Please could I ask if there were any difficulties while removing it, or any special tools needed? Also - did you have to reset the computer to tell it that it's no longer installed, to avoid any error messages on the dashboard? tia, Tink xx

Stupid question, are you sure it has rear aircon? I am guessing it must have as havent seen a fancy console controller like that. Simplest way to check is in the engine bay 4 pipes and not 2. Some dont have full aircon in the back.

Aircon in mine is nice and frosty, cold enough to be uncomfortable on my hands if its on full chat for too long with the vents pointed that way. I didn't think it would,d make much difference, but a new cabin filter when I serviced it seems to have made it even icier. Certainly no complaints...

Which side and which model? In my Caravelle passenger side is the brackets for the jack/tools/removable towbar and the drivers side is full of the auxiliary heater/condenser/blower for the rear Aircon zone. What are you trying to do?
