In November ‘16 I got an ex demo California and I thought the H7 headlights were poor. I researched the possibilities to improve them and with the cost of retrofitting LEDs I opted for GE Megalight Ultra + 130. A great improvement; why don’t VW fit these sort of bulbs as standard?

HONESTLY, don't worry about it, my headlights are fine, i dont notice them anymore, it was my own fault!!! all will be fine, i just made a few errors as a first time fitting them.... only thing id say about mine are theyre a little loud over bumps, like cats-eyes, they seem to make a thud...

The t5 base headlights were absolutely shocking. Upgrading to the oem xenon style projectors was a vast improvement. I was not going to have that issue with the t6. Led it was. Those h4s are very very poor.

Even with the upgraded 150% H4's bulbs the lights are shockingly bad!! Put the main beam on and you might as well just be driving with sidelights on. They are the worst headlights I've ever had on a vehicle. I'm dreading winter when I'll be driving to and from work in the dark everyday...

Those pictures are a pretty accurate representation on the output in real life. I'm comparing t5 standard headlights which were better than the t6 h4 to my t6 led. Those h4s are absolutely shocking even in full beam mode. Good picture comparison.

Guys, just looked at Phillips UK website and not yet available :cry:, probably lacking EU homologation. Best available are Racing Vision at 150%. Note the previous two posts crossed in the ether as I researched too.
