PDC over CAN was the way I'd assume it would work. There is a tick box in VCDS on the Audi module for 'electric tailgate present'. If I get chance tonight I'll try some different coding.

You need to run a wire from the tailgate module to the PDC module and add a couple of relays. I haven’t been able to get this to work, could possibly be to do with needing some parameterisation of the tailgate module or PDC module...

Ah I can see you have electric tailgate. You need to perform the basic setting routine in VCDS. This will clear the error.

Unless you have an electric tailgate then 6d shouldn’t be ticked. Have you just fitted a soft close on your tailgate or a full on electric tailgate?

The struts are what open the tailgate, you can't change them. It does state that Version 2 is compatible with an electric tailgate so you should be OK. It wont lift with bikes attached though.

Lock and unlock the doors or open the tailgate (if you have electric) from the key fob.
