Hi All,

I’m after a little advice regarding the installation of a Wolfbox dashcam on a T28 (2019).

On the fusebox at I right in thinking the left row is permanently live with the centre column switched live?

I purchased the hardwire kit that I was planning on using, would the ACC wire (Red) go to the central fuses and the B+ wire (yellow) go to the left. I’m not 10% which fuse to use, I was thinking the 10amp on the live and the 15amp on the switched. Each fuse on the hardwire kit is 15amp.

I hope this makes sense and thanks for your help.

Have you got a test light or a multimeter, so you can see which is permanently live and which is switched?

Yes you are correct. B+ to the left hand column and ACC to the center column. You don't have to put your piggybacks in a fused slot, you can put them in an empty slot. Just make sure the tail exits from the LHS with the piggyback fuse pointing up.

Yes, this was the mistake I made initially when fitting mine. Turned it the right way up and it then worked as it should.

I just got this kit as well and need to fit it into my T6, I really don't like fuse taps they seem very cowboy wiring to me. Has anyone ditched the fuse taps and wired them in actually hard wired to a location

Did the above fuse slots work for you? I am about to do this

So by this comment I take it all the slots are hard wired to the power source (battery)? I can test with my meter I guess.

Yes they are, although some are permanent +12v and others are switched with the ignition
