Wiring Under Double Passenger Seat - New Van

Hi, first post!

I’ve just received a new T6.1 and had planned to use a converter but that’s fallen through. So I’m going to do some of the ‘easier’ stuff myself.

I thought I’d start with a swivel for the double seat but there’s more wiring under there than I expected. This topic has been looked at previously but I couldn’t find a resolution.

Basic question is can a swivel still be fitted? The seat doesn’t have an airbag. The wiring seems to be mainly for the seat sensors and some fuses. Plus some coloured plugs. If the answer is yes can they be laid under the swivel base?

When you take seat out, lift the flooring and you will find a depression in the van floor towards the drivers seat. All the wiring can be removed from the holder and then placed in the depression. To note if there is a 15 amp fuse in the holder that probably feeds your 12 volt sockets so you may want to extend this one so its more accessible.
